Sofy has created writing programs for Sesame Street, Disney, and the New York Public Library, and she is building an anonymous writing exchange, The Thread. She also works as an independent producer/talent manager, representing a diverse roster of artists whose work has been featured at Netflix, Apple, DreamWorks and more.

With origins in the US, Eritrea, and Ethiopia; a Yale degree in Economics and a French Masters in Anthropology/Music; and a growing collection of cellos in Paris, NYC and Alabama—Sofy has learned not to put anyone in a box.
